Great pic which reminded me that the children at the primary school in Teignmouth Devon (where I'm a governor) wanted a maze for our newly amalgamated infant and junior school. Do you think these stepping stones could be made with clay and then put in a kiln?
I really liked this picture too. From memory the stones were a cement mix, probably made in a wooden mould, and then had things pressed into them, like marbles and bottle tops. Dead easy and no kiln needed!
A weblog diary of our garden in north west England. As we're (hopefully) about to buy an established nursery business, the 'Weekend Gardener' may soon become a full time horticulturalist. Oh, and I won the BBC Gardener of the Year competition, 2006.
Location: nr Barnton, Cheshire, North west UK, United Kingdom
Bluebell Cottage Gardens is set in quiet Cheshire countryside, near Barnton. I took over here in 2007 shortly after winning the BBC's Gardener of the Year competition and set about rebuilding the nursery and garden into a thriving venture.
Visit the gardens and nursery website here: Bluebell Cottage Gardens website.

Hi Jean,
