Another inch of rain
3rd time in a fortnight we've had an inch in one day. A proper November feel to today - driving rain, sodden leaves, almost bare trees black with wet, deep cold puddles in the roadside. Yet the fuchsia and cosmos are still in flower, a couple of the David Austin roses are doing their best to have a final fling and the cyclamen are positively vibrant. There is no month when the garden is colour free. Not even miserable November

Here too. The section I've dug so far resembles a swamp and everything squelches underfoot. I can't see me getting anymore digging done for a while now :(
Poor you. I'm on very sandy soil so I can usually get out quite quickly once it stops. The garden's workable all year round. I just don't get chance in the week with work and stuff!
Thanks for your comment on my blog...actually I'm already in the North West. Your blog looks great I will be having a closer look asap.
