The product of a full day's leaf collecting. I should shred it really, but it's hard enough work collecting them. However, it's all worth it because..
..this is what it makes. The first bucket of home brew compost, 50/50 sieved garden compost and leaf mould. Can't wait to try it out with seeds and cuttings.

A weblog diary of our garden in north west England. As we're (hopefully) about to buy an established nursery business, the 'Weekend Gardener' may soon become a full time horticulturalist. Oh, and I won the BBC Gardener of the Year competition, 2006.
Bluebell Cottage Gardens is set in quiet Cheshire countryside, near Barnton. Ohhhh, I know I shouldn't get excited about a leaf mould bin, but that is one cracking looking leaf mould bin! If anyone needs me, I'll be in therapy...
