GOTY blog

I kept a blog diary before and during the filming of GOTY 2006. So if you're interested in the 'behind the scenes' story, here it is....

Read my GOTY 2006 Blog...

I've still got a few more pictures to upload but Blogger seems a bit slow tonight. Or maybe it's me....

Congratulations! I´m really pleased for you - and what I saw on the BBC website clips showed that it was deserved. I couldn´t watch the show of course, not being in the UK, but I checked in this morning to see if you´d posted the result. I hope it means the start of a really good year for you.
Happy New Year!

Hi Sue - thank you! Shame you can't see it - I guess it might get repeated on cable?

Have a very Happy New Year.

Hi Sue
Many congratulations on your success - its good to see a 'customer' in the flesh so to speak!! Well done and enjoy your success, as I suspect you will quickly return to earth once you start the new nursery!! Happy New Year from Richard & Jane at Penlan Perennials

Hi Richard, and thanks!

You are right - the nursery is going to be a huge challenge. I'm a complete novice at doing things on a commercial scale, albeit the nursery is quite small and an entirely manual operation. It'll be years before I come close to your expertise, of course. You might just get a visitor later this year if I can drag myself away - I've suggested Swallow Cottage to my other half several times, but you're usually fully booked!

Are you buying an established nursery or starting a new one + are you going to specialise in any particular plants?
My sisters live at Huyton and often pop into various nurseries en route to Warrington!!!
